Food Handler Card Online

Our online food handler certification course focuses on safe food preparation and handling techniques and is intended for anyone that works in food preparation, storage, or service. Upon completion of the course, you are immediately food handler certified and you can print or save your food handler card.

The TDSHS (Texas Department of State Health Services) requires that all employees are properly trained in food safety as it relates to their assigned duties.

2-Year Food Handler Card

We issue your 2-year food handler card immediately after you complete the course. Your food handler card is valid for two years from the date of course completion.

Self-Paced Training

Take our food handler training course at your speed and on your schedule. The course contains about 1 hour of course material, but you can take as many breaks as you wish because there is not a course timer.

Food Handler Certification - Course Outline

Our food handler certification course will teach you the importance of safe food handling as well as how to properly clean and sanitize your establishment.

Our food handler training consists of an introduction, four lessons of instruction, and a conclusion. There is not a test at the end of the course. Click on each lesson below to review the topics in that lesson.

Food Handler Card Delivery

There are several ways to receive your food handler card after completing our food handler certification course.

Print Your Card

Your food handler card is available to print or save immediately after you complete the course and it will be emailed to you. You can also login to your account at anytime to print or download your certificate.

Receive Your Card Via Fax or Mail

We also offer fax and mail delivery of your food handler card. For an extra fee, you can have your card faxed to you ($5) or sent by regular mail ($5). To have your food handler card faxed or mailed, add the desired delivery method to your cart when enrolling in the course.

Renewing Your Food Handler Card

To renew your food handler card, you must complete the Texas food handler certification course again. The entire course must be taken every two years to renew your card.
