Texas TABC Seller/Server Certification Course

This course has been approved by Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (program #535-608) and meets all the necessary state requirements for you to receive your official TABC certification.

TABC certification training is not mandatory in Texas, but most businesses require the certification as a condition of employment.

Certification: Valid for 2 years from the date of course completion

Recertification: Server must take the entire TABC certification course and final exam every 2 years. There is not a shorter re-certification course.

Length of course: 3 hours and 20 minutes

Course Validation: Per TABC regulations, the online TABC certification course includes a personal validation system. The validation system is used to authenticate you as a user while you progress through the TABC course. Before you may begin the course, you must answer the personal validation questions. It is important for you to remember your answers to these questions as you will be required to answer these same questions at random times throughout the TABC course.

Course Timer: Per TABC regulations, the online TABC certification course includes a timer. You must complete the TABC course within 6 consecutive hours. For example, if you begin the TABC certification course at 1pm, you must complete it by 7pm. If you don't complete the course within the required time limit, you will be required to start the course over from the beginning.
